Information we collect
We collect account/email-verification information, professional details and materials you submit, state and general location, travel and work preferences, applications and their submitted versions, member messages, communication choices, consent records, support/privacy requests, and security/audit records. Authorized staff can maintain private recruiting notes and production histories. Unclaimed studio contacts are private and are not automatically published or treated as consenting members. Do not submit government IDs, financial details or unrelated sensitive information.
How we use information
We use this information to operate and secure accounts, verify humans and email addresses, publish profiles according to your choices, provide professional contact/messaging, manage applications and staffing, maintain production relationships, deliver transactional emails, investigate misuse and respond to privacy requests. We do not sell network member information or use it for targeted advertising. Optional opportunity-email preferences are separate from necessary account, recovery and application messages.
Visibility and recipients
Approved public profiles and selected headshots can be viewed and indexed publicly. Verified free members can access profile email and optional phone details. Only the owning member and authorized studio staff can access private uploaded files through the network; staff also manage applications and recruiting records. Member messages are delivered to the recipient and stored by the service. Do not send highly sensitive information in messages. Outside production companies do not receive access to the studio’s recruiting administration.
Providers, security and cookies
WordPress.com/Automattic hosts the site, database, backups and native email delivery. Cloudflare Turnstile provides human verification and processes verification tokens, IP addresses and technical browser signals under its own privacy disclosures. WordPress login cookies maintain sessions. This notice does not override Automattic or Cloudflare policies or the practices of external profile links. We use restricted file delivery, access controls, human/email verification and rate limits. PDFs and images are rebuilt before storage; this is not a complete antivirus scan. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and requests
Profile and account records are kept while the account remains active and needed for the service. The studio reviews inactive accounts after 24 months and applications/recruiting records 24 months after the relevant project closes. Messages and audit/security records are reviewed after 12 months. These are staff review points, not automatic deletion deadlines; a documented production, safety or legal need may justify longer retention. Minimal anonymized production history and suppression records may remain after deletion. You can edit/hide your profile or request access, correction, export or deletion through Account or BleakVector@gmail.com. The studio aims to acknowledge requests within 7 days and respond within 30 days, verifying identity and explaining any extension or retention reason. You may ask the same contact to review a privacy decision. These procedures do not limit rights provided by applicable law.
Backups and deletion
Approved erasure removes or anonymizes identifiable profile, contact, message, assessment, application and file data in the active service. Exports expire after 7 days. Downloaded manual backups are access restricted, reviewed for deletion after 90 days and are used for recovery rather than routine member access. Hosting-managed backups/logs follow Automattic’s own retention practices. Completed erasures are reconciled after a restoration. Public information copied or indexed elsewhere may remain outside our control.
Age, changes and provider links
Membership is for adults 18 and older. Contact us if information about a child was submitted. Material notice changes will be posted and communicated where appropriate.
